Renting a car for traveling around Dubai is not such a good idea because traffic jam is really a problem at peak hours (which is quite all day). And driving in Dubai is chaotic - drivers cut in front of you, turn without indicating, drive close to the center of the road at a speed of little less than 160 km/hr. If you didn’t know, UAE has one of the world’s highest rates of road deaths.
