On a trip to the oasis of Al-Ain&Buraimi, 160km southeast of Dubai

Last time I went to Dubai I took a trip to the beautiful desert oasis of Al-Ain&Buraimi. It is a little far from Dubai – 160 km southeast- meaning a 2 hours trip. But it’s worth getting there for the temperate climate and the cool and quiet date-palm oasis all over town. Also worth visiting is Al-Ain Palace museum and the livestock souq across from the museum. Take a minibus from the Bur Dubai bus station – it’s 30Dh, to return to Dubai catch a shared taxi which takes four to seven passengers. If you want to hire a taxi of your own you will pay about 150Dh.
