Desert Safari outside Dubai

Take a desert trip to a Bedouin camp where you can stay overnight - sleeping under the stars is something you can talk about. Book a tour at Arabian Adventure, an agency located at the Emirates Holidays Building on Sheikh Zayed Rd, or at Orient Tours - a travel company located on Al-Garhoud Rd in Deira district. They offer similar tours: you will leave Dubai in the afternoon, ride the desert in a 4WD to reach the camp in time for a camel ride (or sand boarding) before sunset. They offer great Arabian barbecue dinner followed by a belly dancer and sheesha smoking before returning to Dubai. The trip costs about 320Dh per person with an extra fee for staying overnight at the camp.
