I want to bring home some Arabian perfumes for my friends, where can I find interesting scents?(give a different answer) .
Walk along the Bank Street in Bur Dubai district and at the corner with the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Rd you will find BurJuman Centre, a shopping complex. Ajmal is its perfume shop and the most popular maker of Arabian perfumes and essentials oils. It’s often crowded with local old women waving the smoky aromas of burning oud (it’s a local custom, I think). Try “Zikra Al Nawaaem”- I hope I spelled it right - it is an exotic spicy sandalwood based scent kept in a beautiful golden bottle. The BurJuman Centre is opened from 10 am till 10 pm except Friday.
