Actually, there is a famous one (and the only one), perhaps the most beautiful building in the Emirates: the Jumeira Mosque. You'll find it simple, because of its delicate minarets and rose-coloured sandstone... but you may take an organised tour (by the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for cultural Understanding): "Open Doors, Open Minds", they call it, and it's for non-Muslims wanting to learn about the national religion and culture. the e-mail adress is: smccu@emirates.net.ae. enjoy!
