Dubai, Heritage House

Posted 1 year ago by avatar eduardo in response to avatar cultie's question: What do you recommend me to visit in Dubai? (give a different answer) .

I remember visiting the former residence of a wealthy sheikh. Heritage House is the name and belonged to Sheikh Ahmed bin Dalmouk who had it built in 1890. The courtyard house is made of coral and gypsum and the interior houses a collection of traditional displays. This museum-house is located in Deira Souq, adjoining Al-Ahmadya School. Visiting hours are from 2.30 to 7.30, except Friday. Entry is free.
