hans's question: Where can I listen to live performance of traditional music in Dubai?(give a different answer) .
There is this eating and drinking spot called Marrakech at Shangri-La Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Rd. Is more of a restaurant than a bar but you can sit at the low tables at the front, get a drink and mezze and enjoy the nightly performances by the traditional Moroccan band. Marrakech opens for lunch from 1 to 3 pm and for dinner and drinks from 7.30 pm to 1 am.
