Camel racing at Dubai Camel Racecourse

Off Ouda Metha Rd near Nad al-Sheba Club if you want to watch a traditional sport go for camel racing which is a huge business for Arabians. It's quite fun to watch these desert sheeps racing at up to 60 km per hour and the owners driving inside of the track urging on their camel. Races are being held from October to April every Thursday and Friday. They start at 7 am in the morning and continue until about 9 am. If you miss out on a race meeting watch training sessions each morning at about the same time or around 5.30 pm.
