When I and my wife visited Dubai we took a double room for 330 Dh at Al-Hijaz Heritage Motel. That’s next to Al-Ahmadiya School in Deira district. It’s quite modest but it has a courtyard and the rooms are clean, large, with satellite TV and bar fridge. The simple, tasteful decor and the good price made us want to stay more.
